Part of my heritage series, this one obviously represents the spirit of the humming bird. She is a sign of good luck, and carries our prayers to the Great Spirit. The flower in the woman's hand is that of a Cherokee rose. A flower that legend says blossomed as a sign to the women on the Trail of Tears that their children were safe with the Creator.
